We have now been working with Folko Kooper and Maureen Craig for several years now.
The FormBoss™ steel garden edging really gives the statues a wow factor, and make them look like all in one features.
Folko creates all kinds of wonderful works of art.
He works a lot with the ever popular corten weathering steel, but included a fair bit of stainless steel throughout his designs this year.
If you’re interested in having something made, have a talk to Folko, and if you get the chance go visit the artist in Tasmania for a consultation.
You may have seen his works littered throughout Villawood estates.
I feel this type of art is soothing and natural in a way that most sculptures are not.

Wenna Cao came from China to study at Holmesglen TAFE. She’s completed her first achievable garden at Melbourne Flower Show and showed us all what she’s made of. I personally can’t wait to see some larger scale displays for Wenna in the future.

Peta Donaldson was the designer of ‘The Muse’ display for this year and featured a beautiful linear garden with a corten feature.
It’s only Peta’s second year at the show, and she’s managed to win a silver award!
(You may not see much FormBoss™ edging in this display, it’s hidden, but it’s doing it’s job)

The Phillip Johnson team has made history with their design for the Trailfinders Australian Garden presented by Fleming’s, being awarded with a ‘Best in Show’ medal overnight at Chelsea – a feat never before achieved by an Australian team in their nine years of taking part.
Winning ‘Best in Show’ at Chelsea represents something of a career zenith for Phillip and his outstanding team.
‘Being involved in Chelsea was a dream come true for myself and my team. Winning an award amongst contemporaries of this calibre is absolutely mind-blowing. We couldn’t be more proud of what we have achieved, it’s been an incredible experience,’ exclaimed Johnson.
‘We came here with a very ambitious vision – to showcase Australia, our horticultural industry and to educate the world on the possibilities of sustainable landscape design. This presented challenges from the other side of the world, but we knew we only had one chance to make the impact necessary to educate, and that’s what we have done.’
The ninth and final entry for Chelsea Flower Show stalwarts, Fleming’s Nurseries, the Trailfinders Australian Garden presented by Fleming’s was not only awarded with a prestigious Gold Medal but also with the ‘Best in Show’ honour, which has eluded the team for so many years.
The finished design took a total of 17 days and over 2,500 man-hours to build, transforming what once resembled a bare soccer pitch into a sustainable garden retreat.

Following up Grand Designs in Sydney late last year, Jamie Durie elected to keep the REDCOR® (weathering/rusting steel) planter beds that we sponsored his display with. These are pictures of his personal backyard. FormBoss™ REDCOR® Steel edging allows you to have pre-made planter/garden beds and tree rings in almost any height or size imaginable.
Included in the pictures is a snap of Cromer Communiter Center designed by Durie Design, which is part of the Warringah Council. It was also included in the channel 9 Easter special of Womans Weekly TV.

Kaleidoscopic Dreams is a colourful garden that used a variety of plants, shapes and textures to create an inviting haven to sit, relax and dream.
The plant foliage features as the main event. Colour is abundant with beautiful deep plum and burgundy shades that contrast with a variety of vivid greens, silver blues and chocolate brown.
Texture and shape are incorporated in all the elements of the garden to give it character.
The strappy form of the different grasses is softened by the weeping form of the Himalayan Bamboo and Willow Murtle. The velvet Lambs Ears and fine foliaged Acacia add to the textural element.
A curved seat made with earthy tones of rusted steel takes center stage, a place to sit alone or with friends around a fire-pit.
Along with the edging and tall planters, these features not only add colour but also contrast and height, giving the garden a warm and welcoming feel.
Fiona’s extra comments:
FormBoss™ Corten Metal Garden Edging gave my MIFGS (Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show) display garden the wow factor that I was looking for. Brad and the team at Greenlines were extremely helpful throughout the process and the feedback received during the show was incredible. I would definitely recommend FormBoss™ metal edging for it’s durability versatility and aesthetic appeal. Thanks Greenlines Gardenware for supplying such an impressive product.
